Help Us Welcome the SEMO Football Team!

On Friday, August 7, Centenary has the exciting opportunity to serve the SEMO Football Team and coaching staff by providing dinner for approximately 150 players and staff before they begin their season.

This is a wonderful opportunity to extend Christ’s love through hospitality as we welcome these student-athletes and the coaches who invest in their lives. As Scripture reminds us, “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” — Hebrews 13:2

We’ll be serving a Baked Potato Bar with all the fixings, followed by an Ice Cream Sundae Bar for dessert! We are excited to provide a meal that is both filling and welcoming as we encourage these young men before the start of their season.

We need your help to make this outreach a success!

Volunteers are needed for:
-Thursday, August 6 at 9:30 a.m. – Kitchen prep and food preparation
-Friday, August 7 at 2:30 p.m.– Setup, serving the meal, and cleanup

We are also seeking monetary donations to help cover the cost of the meal. Donations may be dropped off at the church office during regular office hours or given online through our secure giving page.

Every gift and every volunteer hours help us share the love of Christ in a practical way. Thank you for partnering with us as we bless the SEMO Football Team with a meal, warm hospitality, and the love of Jesus.
