Kali brings a strong background in early childhood education, a passion for helping children learn and grow, and a heart for building meaningful relationships with families. Her experience includes teaching preschool, Pre-K, and elementary-age students, most recently serving as a Pre-K teacher at Christian School for the Young Years. We are delighted to welcome her to the Centenary family and look forward to the leadership, enthusiasm, and care she will bring to our preschool ministry.
A Missouri native, Kali returned to Southeast Missouri in 2017 after spending much of her childhood in Florida and attending the University of Central Florida, where she studied Early Childhood Education. She lives with her husband, their three-year-old daughter, and their beloved dachshund. Outside of school, Kali enjoys football (especially cheering on the Florida State Seminoles), singing, hiking, and finding any excuse to enjoy Mexican food.
As we welcome Kali, we also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Denise Gartman for her faithful leadership and dedication to Centenary Preschool. Denise stepped into a challenging situation and helped build a thriving preschool program from the ground up. Through her vision, hard work, and commitment, enrollment has grown, a strong staff team has been developed, and a solid foundation has been established for the future.
To help ensure a smooth transition, Denise will continue working alongside Kali throughout the summer before concluding her service in July. We are grateful for her willingness to provide support and continuity during this important season.
Please join us in thanking Denise for her outstanding service and in extending a warm Centenary welcome to Kali as she begins this exciting new chapter. We look forward to all that God has in store for our preschool and the families we serve.
