Centenary Spotlight: Gary Gilhaus

Gary Gilhaus Cropped CS

On this week’s Centenary Spotlight, we are highlighting a member of our staff: Facilities Director Gary Gilhaus! Gary’s role is to ensure that Centenary is always running smoothly. When something stops working, Gary either contracts the work or does it himself, From as small as changing a lightbulb to a big as repainting the parking lot, Gary works diligently behind the scenes to keep our facilities running.

He also maintains our first aid supplies, creates our emergency plans, and assists with security alongside Chip Wilson. He helped install our flat screen TVs, ran cables for our security cameras, and keeps track of our keys and security codes. Gary reviews any footage caught by our security cameras, and is quick to respond to the scene if needed.

Gary has been our Facilities Director for 7 years, and has been going to Centenary Methodist Church since the age of two years old. He sings in our choir, is a member of multiple bible studies, assists with community meals, and helps out with the Tech Team when needed. His hobby is repairing classic Volkswagens, and chances are you have seen some of his work driving around town! Thank you so much Gary for your amazing for for Centenary!
