This week’s Centenary Spotlight is on Jeff Hine, Chair of the Board of Trustees. Jeff has been a member of Centenary since 2019. He and his wife Janet joined Centenary because they wanted to worship in a Sanctuary, and they enjoy the people.

The Board of Trustees manages the resources of the church, oversees and maintains property (including the parsonage) and sets guidelines for the property. The Board also is in charge of initiating repairs for our property, as big as fixing AC to as small as replacing a refrigerator. The Committee is to submit an annual budget to the Finance Committee that covers the cost of insurance, maintenance, improvements and new property purchases. They meet monthly to discuss and decide on maintenance issues, landscaping and ideas to update the appearance of church property. The committee’s current large project is renovating our Preschool’s playground.

As the chair of the Board of Trustees, Jeff Hine is also a member of the Administrative Council. Jeff is also a member of the Sojourners Sunday School class, and he and his wife are door greeters Sunday morning. Thank you Jeff for your leadership and expertise you give to Centenary!
