Centenary Spotlight: Kim and Andy Chronister
Today’s Sunday Spotlight is on Kim and Andy Chronister! Andy and Kim started attending Centenary in March 2008. “My father had just passed away, and my grandfather was taking it pretty hard. We thought switching churches would be a way to spend more time with him,” Kim said. It only took a few Sundays before they realized they had found their new church home! It didn’t take long before the Chronisters felt led to do more than just “warm the pew”. Andy joined the choir, Kim was recruited as a lay leader and delegate to Annual Conference. Over the past 16 years, they have both served on various teams and committees.

Andy stated, “Centenary was so welcoming to us! We just want to share that welcoming spirit with everyone. We had been church nomads for a while before Mike passed away. We didn’t step in to Centenary with the expectation of finding our church home; but we have been home over since. It is so exciting to see the renewed energy and light at Centenary! We are doing so many awesome things.”
